International Mixed Disability Cricket Council (IMDCC)

About IMDCC

Cricket where every ability shares one team

IMDCC exists to grow mixed disability cricket internationally, and to support the national bodies that make it happen.

What is mixed disability cricket?

A mixed disability cricket team in a huddle before a match

In mixed disability cricket, players with physical, hearing and intellectual impairments play together in one team. Rather than separate teams for each impairment group, the format brings everyone onto the same field, with rules that keep the game fair and competitive.

The format has already reached the international stage. England and India played the first international mixed disability series in 2025, including a match at Lord's, the Home of Cricket, and England toured India in 2026.

Our mission

IMDCC promotes mixed disability cricket and creates awareness of it internationally. We support cricket boards and disability cricket bodies with governance, structure and practical help, so that more countries can field national Men's, Women's and Under-19 mixed disability teams.

We work through national cricket boards and alongside the wider cricket family, not outside it.
